We take an open approach to source code so everyone benefits.
The code base for almost all our development apps is freely available on the Nordic Semiconductor repository at Github.
Freedom
Such access gives developers a better understanding of the code and the freedom to debug, fix and enhance Bluetooth implementations independently of us.
You’re also free to take chunks of code from the library and use them in your own apps.
Of course, support is available should you need it through the Nordic Semiconductor DevZone.

nRF Connect for Mobile
nRF Connect for Mobile is a powerful generic mobile tool that allows you to scan and explore your Bluetooth Low Energy devices and communicate with them. Also supports DFU and Eddystone.
Nordic Thingy:52
The Nordic Thingy mobile app complement the Nordic Thingy:52 IoT Sensor kit. It makes it possible to configure and interact with the Thingy out-of-the-box and can be used as a reference for your own app.
nRF Mesh
The nRF Mesh apps enables you to provision, configure and control Bluetooth mesh networks, to demonstrate a subset of the capabilities of the nRF Mesh open source libraries.

nRF Toolbox
The nRF Toolbox is a container app demonstrating the following Bluetooth profiles: Cycling Speed and Cadence, Running Speed and Cadence, Heart Rate Monitor, Blood Pressure Monitor, Health Thermometer Monitor, Glucose Monitor, Proximity Monitor. It also supports Nordic UART and DFU.
nRF Beacon
The nRF Beacon application lets you explore a full range of possibilities for beacons using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. The application has been designed to demonstrate all features of the nRF8122 Bluetooth Smart Beacon Kit.
nRF BLE Joiner
nRF BLE Joiner is an Android app designed to add new IPv6 IoT nodes to a network based on Bluetooth Low Energy. This application acts as a reference application for customers to build their own IoT solutions based on Bluetooth Low Energy.
